3A & 3B - Picture Box Books
Last week we started a large project where student groups write short stories, then build sets inside boxes for their illustrations. This week, students drafted storyboards.

3A & 3B - Construction Projects
In 3rd grade we have been working on some building and 3d construction. In addition to taking a cursory look at Google Sketchup, we did a project in which students are required to work as groups to build a city on a small cardboard boxtop 'island.'
