~Assignments for the week of the 8th-19th

3A & 3B - This week we're going to take a look at some of the animations we've made in class and talk about them as a group. After, we'll practice tweening. Tweening is an animation technique that allows us to plan and draw motion accurately. We'll start off by playing a game outside called the Tweening Game. Later, we'll be working on animations in short intervals like 3 frames, 5 frames, and 9 frames.

Modern Art - Art is a communication medium and good art conveys a concept, emotion, or sensation. Our next project will be to undertake longer animation communicating the idea of 'transformation' or 'change.' Each of you should draw up a new storyboard approximately 7 keyframes long (1 frame every five seconds with an extra frame starting at zero), representing 30 seconds or 150 EasyToon frames. Remember that your storyboard is a working model and changeable. Please turn in your storyboard once you have your keyframes copied down into EasyToon. Then, begin working the frames between.
